Commemorative Gold
1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS65 NGC. Bright, satiny yellow-gold luster adorns this well-preserved Lewis and Clark gold dollar. The portraits are sharply rendered, and the usual metal flowlines in the fields are minimal. The 1904 was the first of two gold dollar issues produced as souvenirs for the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition, held in Portland, Oregon, in 1905.
