1904 G$1 Lewis and Clark Gold Dollar MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Stunning copper-gold luster emanates from both sides of this high-end commemorative gold dollar, complemented by sharply struck design elements. The surfaces have been very well cared for, further enhancing the coin's outstanding eye appeal. Bowers (2008) says of this issue: "... among all commemorative gold coins of this denomination, the Lewis and Clark issues of 1904 and 1905 are singularly distinctive for their rarity in higher grades. They are far rarer than any other commemorative gold dollar varieties."
