1995-W $1 Silver Eagle PR70 Ultra Cameo NGC. The FUN sale this year is an important event for collectors of proof Silver Eagle Registry Sets. Here offered is a flawlessly preserved, beautiful struck Ultra Cameo example of the key to the proof series: the 1995-W. This low-mintage issue was distributed only through special 10th Anniversary Bullion Program proof sets, which included the 1995-W Silver Eagle along with its four Gold Eagle proof counterparts. The sets were sold at a steep price of $999, which stunted sales to only 30,125 sets. This corresponded to the entire production of the 1995-W Silver Eagle, which is now the key date to the entire proof series.
