1883 25C Hawaii Quarter MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Of the four 1883 Hawaii denominations, the hapaha or quarter is the most available in Mint State. But the issue becomes rare at the MS66+ level, with just five pieces certified as such by PCGS with only 17 finer (11/16). This lustrous representative displays splendid ocean-blue and golden-brown toning throughout the borders, leaving a window of brilliance at the centers. The strike is crisp except on the upper portion of King Kalakaua's beard.
