Redfield Dollars
1893-CC $1 MS65 Paramount (MS63 NGC). Ex: Redfield Collection. The estate of hard money advocate LaVere Redfield included approximately 400,000 silver dollars, including many Uncirculated Carson City examples. Paramount International eventually acquired a large number of the coins, and housed them in red (MS65) or black (MS60) holders. The present sharply struck and lustrous silver dollar displays lovely golden-brown and sea-green peripheral patina.
