Mint of The United States at San Francisco, Type One Oval Hallmark, Large Font # 330, Curved Stem 9s in 999.75 Fine. 5.86 ozs. Early to mid-1930s.
Type One hallmarks are found in large, medium, and small font sized serial numbers. The large size is easily distinguished; small and medium-sized fonts less so. The large font size was part of the first two series of Type One ingots. The surfaces on this piece are bright overall with the usual charcoal-gray in the recesses of the imprint.
