Mint of the United States the San Francisco, Type One Oval Hallmark, Small Font # 1455, Curved Stem 9s in 999.75 Fine. 6.32 ozs. Early to mid-1940s.
The Small Font Serial Number ingots with Curved 9s was produced in the early to mid-1940s. This is a bright silvery ingot that has a hallmark that is just a bit off center to the right. The back side is several shades deeper in color than the mostly untoned top side.
