Ingots
Mint of the United States at San Francisco, Type One Oval Hallmark, Small Font # 1106, Curved Stem 9s in 999.5 Fine. 6.55 ozs. Early to mid-1940s.
The Type One, Small Font silver ingots were last produced in the early to mid-1940s. The surfaces are remarkably smooth with one circular void in the eagle at the juncture of the leg and wing, and a shallow, circular casting flaw on the lower portion of the top side. Pale red and light blue patina is seen over each side.
