Ingots
U.S. Mint San Francisco, 1960 Round Dated Hallmark, No Serial Number, Lot #10. 999.5 Fine. 28.38 ozs. This ingot is laid out similarly to the 1960 ingot we sold in our June Long Beach Auction in 2011. The round hallmark is at the top, no serial number (as on that ingot from five years ago), and at the bottom is 999.5 and FINE. All the imprints are bold and deeply impressed. Light silver-gray surfaces show just the slightest bit of rose patina. Ken Conaway has only seen four ingots with the 1960 Round Dated hallmark.
