Box for an 1873 Proof Set. The 159mm x 130mm brown leatherette case features a 51mm x 32mm steel plate on the top center, engraved "G.W.P. Bucheller / BORN / February 21st, 1873." The velvet-covered interior has slots for the cent, two cent, three cent silver, three cent nickel, nickel, half dime, dime, quarter, half dollar, and silver dollar denominations. The clasp works. The case grades Fine. No coins are offered with this lot.
