Certified Modern Proof Sets
1936 Proof Set, PR66-68 NGC. A uniformly high-grade set of this first modern year of issue. All are NGC-certified. Included are:
Cent -- Brilliant Finish -- PR66 Red. Bright, even red color with no apparent flaws. An especially vibrant proof.
Nickel -- Satin Finish -- PR68. A coin of singular note that appears to be carbon-free. The faces at first glance look brilliant, but closer inspection shows just the faintest hint of color.
Dime PR66. Nicely mirrored and showing just the lightest bit of rose patina on each side. Exceptional eye appeal.
Quarter PR66. Struck from heavily lapped dies, the fields show mirrors that are predictably deep. Again, only light toning is apparent, except for a couple of dashes of russet along the obverse rim.
Half Dollar PR66. The fields on this piece are more obviously mirrored than seen on many 1936 proof halves. Like the pieces above, just the lightest bit of toning is seen on each side.
