Certified Modern Proof Sets
1937 Proof Set PR65-67 NGC. This attractive, second-year set is certified by NGC. Included are:
Cent PR65 Red. Deeply mirrored fields on each side. The rich red color is interspersed with occasional accents of lilac.
Nickel PR67. Just the faintest traces of aqua-blue and rose patina can be seen on each side of this deeply mirrored proof.
Dime PR66. Streaks of russet toning are seen across each side, but the color in no way impairs the deep reflectivity seen in the fields.
Quarter PR66. Lightly toned centers turn darker around the peripheries. Nicely mirrored and problem-free.
Half Dollar PR66. Just faint speckles of color can be seen around the obverse rim, but the entire reverse displays even blue-golden toning. A nicely mirrored example of this popular early proof.
