1945-PDS Mint Set MS63 to MS67+ PCGS Secure. This well-matched 15-piece 1945-PDS Mint Set is individually certified in consecutively serial-numbered PCGS Secure holders. The black cardboard holder that housed these coins for many years, likely several decades, is included. Although not currently recorded in the PCGS Set Registry, these coins would receive a total set rating of 66.63, placing this 1945 set in the 6th position for current 1945 Mint Sets registered at www.pcgs.com/setregistry http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry . The set includes:

1945 Lincoln Cent MS64 Red PCGS Secure. Nicely defined with brilliant orange mint surfaces that exhibit minuscule splashes of blue toning.
1945-P Jefferson Nickel MS65+ PCGS Secure. Frosty and highly lustrous with champagne centers ceding to beautiful peripheral gold and iridescent toning.
1945 Mercury Dime MS66+ PCGS Secure. Intense orange, cherry, and blue toning frames the delicate greenish-gold centers of this satiny Premium Gem.
1945 Washington Quarter MS67+ PCGS Secure. This highly lustrous Superb Gem exhibits frosty silver surfaces within a narrow ring of brilliant rose, gold, and iridescent toning. Population: 7 in 67+, 2 finer (11/16).
1945 Walking Liberty Half Dollar MS66+ PCGS Secure. An amazing Premium Gem, this lovely half dollar has brilliant silver luster at the centers, exhibiting wispy bluish-green, light gold, intense rose, and pastel violet patina at the peripheries.

1945-D Lincoln Cent MS64 Red PCGS Secure. Trivial spots are noted on the brilliant orange surfaces of this frosty cent.
1945-D Jefferson Nickel MS65 Full Steps PCGS Secure. Fully lustrous and sharply struck with 5 1/2 steps visible through the dusky champagne and gold toning.
1945-D Mercury Dime MS66 PCGS Secure. The obverse of this lovely dime exhibits greenish-yellow at the center within intense reddish-orange toning. The reverse is mostly brilliant silver with a narrow band of orange-gold toning at the border. The central horizontal bands are split, and nearly sharp enough for a Full Bands designation.
1945-D Washington Quarter MS67+ PCGS Secure. A frosty Superb Gem, this lovely quarter has brilliant silver luster with splashes of iridescent toning inside the obverse border, and a lovely peripheral ring of violet, rose, and gold on the reverse. Population: 8 in 67+, 0 finer (11/16).
1945-D Walking Liberty Half Dollar MS67+ PCGS Secure. The three half dollars are the real stars of this Mint Set, and this Superb Gem is the star of the three half dollars. A nicely defined Superb Gem, this half dollar has brilliant and frosty silver luster at the centers, ceding to bright blue, gold, rose, lilac, and steel toning closer to the borders. Population: 19 in 67+, 0 finer (11/16).

1945-S Lincoln Cent MS63 Red PCGS Secure. Minor spots, specks of blue toning, and slight mellowing of the brilliant orange mint surfaces are expected on the cents in this set, given the holder where they resided for so many years.
1945-S Jefferson Nickel MS66 PCGS Secure. Dappled peripheral gold toning is evident on the brilliant silver surfaces of this frosty Premium Gem.
1945-S Mercury Dime MS67 PCGS Secure. The obverse exhibits pastel greenish-yellow toning with splashes of pale gold. The reverse is brilliant and lustrous with attractive peripheral gold toning on the frosty silver surfaces.
