Patterns
1864 50C Half Dollar, Judd-392, Pollock-460, Low R.7, PR63 Brown PCGS. CAC. Struck from the regular obverse die, and paired with the regular reverse die of 1866 with the motto above the eagle. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. The Judd-392 was struck circa-1869 into the early 1870s, according to USPatterns.com, and was offered as part of a denomination set struck in copper. The fields are deeply mirrored on each side with noticeably contrasting mint frost on the devices. A light layer of teal and rose toning is seen across both obverse and reverse. Lightly hairlined.
