Gold Dollars
1854 G$1 Type One MS65 NGC. The obverse motifs exhibit razor-sharp definition, as do most elements on the reverse. Only the date is trivially soft. Glittering frost rolls over smooth, yellow-gold surfaces with pale green and lilac tinges. Minor grazes fail to detract in any meaningful way. The 1854 represents the final year of the Type One design. Census: 68 in 65, 16 finer (11/16).
