Gold Dollars
1854 G$1 Type Two MS63 PCGS. An outstanding coin for the grade, showing luminous orange-gold luster with lavender and peach hues that attest to obvious originality of color. Clash marks and minor high-point strike weakness in the centers of each side are characteristic of the type in general. This Type Two 1854 gold dollar is an outstanding example of the second gold dollar design issued. A few minor marks are seen only with a loupe. Housed in an old "rattler" holder.
