Gold Dollars
1855 G$1 Type Two MS64+ PCGS. The 1855 is one of only two issues for the Type Two gold dollar that are usually available for type collection purposes. However, Gem-quality examples are scarce. This high-end near-Gem displays frosty yellow-gold and mostly clean fields. Clash marks appear on each side, and the reverse is lapped. Both sides show the usual minor strike weakness at the very centers.
