Liberty Quarter Eagles
1880 $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. A fully struck and lightly abraded example. The right obverse displays peach toning. One of just 2,960 business strikes produced and a scarce issue, especially in Mint condition. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece for $8.00 from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s. Population: 11 in 62, 23 finer (11/16).
