1909 $2 1/2 MS65+ PCGS. Even beneath a loupe, this Plus-designated Gem does not show a single contact mark or abrasion that would prohibit at least an MS66 grade, although when held at certain angles, a 10x loupe detects a few faint lines in the fields that dictated PCGS' assessment. The coin is well-struck, and eye appeal far surpasses expectations for the grade. PCGS reports 19 finer representatives (11/16).
