1911-D $2 1/2 MS60 NGC. Strong D. This lustrous Mint State example is sharply struck with satiny orange-gold luster. Grade-limiting abrasions are much less obvious than expected for the grade. The 1911-D is actively sought in lower Mint State grades with pleasing eye appeal, although few coins at this level exhibit such. The present example is a refreshing exception in that regard. Housed in a prior generation holder.
