Indian Quarter Eagles
1911-D $2 1/2 MS62 PCGS. Strong D. This is a lustrous coin with finely textured surfaces, as usual. The straw-gold fields reveal few noteworthy abrasions, giving the coin unusually strong visual merit for the grade. The strike is sharp, and the knife rim along the upper-right obverse border is plainly discerned in the modern PCGS holder. The coloration appears original, something that cannot be said of the majority of low-end Mint State 1911-D quarter eagles.
