1912 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Satiny rose-gold and pale olive hues characterize the near-Gem surfaces of this high-end Choice 1912 quarter eagle. A Gem grade might have been achieved were it not for a few light marks in the reverse fields. The lower headdress feathers exhibit slight softness, but the eagle's wing is sharply defined. Finer 1912 quarter eagles will be out of reach for most collectors of this popular and completable series.
