1883 $3 MS63 PCGS. Coming from a small mintage of 900 pieces, the sought-after 1883 gold three dollar is conditionally scarce in Select condition and rare any finer, despite a higher-than-normal survival rate. The present coin is sharply struck and showcases reflective fields and rich orange-gold coloration. A few minor marks are not overly distracting. Population: 32 in 63, 27 finer (10/16).
