1889 $3 MS63 PCGS. The final three dollar gold issue in the series is an ideal type coin. Despite a mintage of only 2,300 coins, this issue remains readily collectible in Mint State. The present Select representative displays a sharp strike and surprisingly smooth, satiny surfaces. Semiprooflike mirroring characterizes the reverse fields.
