This AU-level coin displays incredibly sharp detail with almost no evidence of high-point friction. The yellow-gold surfaces are largely unabraded, although faint granularity in the fields prevents a numeric grade from PCGS. Overall, this Carson City half eagle is far more appealing than the notation on the holder insert would suggest.
