1911-S $5 MS62 PCGS. CAC. This San Francisco issue is challenging in all Mint State grades and the 1911-S is seldom available finer than the MS63 level. The current CAC-endorsed coin is a pleasing MS62 with khaki-gold color and fewer marks than often encountered. A thin scrape on the cheek and some light field abrasions on the reverse are present, but the eye appeal, strike, and luster exceed expectations.
