Indian Half Eagles
1914-D $5 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The 1914-D is numismatically significant as the final Indian Head half eagle produced at the Denver Mint. Soft greenish-gold color graces both sides of this high-end near-Gem, each of which exudes pleasing bright luster. The design elements are well-impressed, including the eagle's right (facing) shoulder and the D mintmark. A few abrasions preclude Gem status.
