1847-O $10 AU58 PCGS. Variety 7. Although the 1847-O half eagle is a rarity, its ten dollar counterpart has the highest mintage of any New Orleans gold issue. Nonetheless, it becomes rare at the near-Mint level, particularly in a green label holder. This is a pleasing piece with original peach-gold toning and an absence of reportable marks. Population: 14 in 58 (1 in 58+), 12 finer (11/16).
