Liberty Eagles
1857 $10 AU58 NGC. CAC. A low-mintage Liberty ten, with only 16,606 pieces struck and characteristically low survivorship that frequents the middle dates of the series. This example displays lovely orange-gold color and minimally marked surfaces, earning CAC endorsement for its surface quality and visual appeal. Mint luster remains prominent at the margins and in generous amounts throughout the fields. With Uncirculated examples seldom seen, this near-Mint coin fits any high-grade eagle set. Census: 24 in 58, 4 finer. CAC: 3 in 58, 0 finer (10/16).
