Liberty Eagles
1874-CC $10 VF35 PCGS. Variety 1-A. Olive and apricot-gold colors embrace traces of mint luster that remain across remarkably smooth and unabraded surfaces of this well-defined Carson City ten. In relative terms, the 1874-CC is more available than any of the other CC-Mint eagles from the 1870s. It is still scarce and in demand, though, with a mintage of 16,767 pieces -- from which perhaps only 1 to 2% survive in all grades. Population: 27 in 35, 114 finer (11/16).
