Liberty Eagles
1880-O $10 XF45 PCGS. Variety 1. The New Orleans Mint reopened in 1879 to strike silver dollars, but also coined very small mintages of eagles annually through 1883. The 1880-O has a tiny production of 9,200 pieces. This yellow-gold example displays moderate wear and a slight obverse rim knock at 2 o'clock. The left-side stars are die doubled, especially stars 2 through 4.
