1890 $10 MS63 NGC. The 1890 Liberty eagle boasts a modest mintage of 57,980 pieces, but the survival rate for this issue is surprisingly high in absolute terms. The 1890 is rare in MS63 condition, however, and finer examples are virtually unobtainable. This sharply detailed Select eagle offers lightly marked peach-gold surfaces with frosty mint luster on both sides. Census: 6 in 63, 0 finer (11/16).
