1904 $10 MS64 PCGS. CAC. Philadelphia Mint issues from the 1890s and 1900s are often considered common, but there are several low mintage and conditionally scarce dates from those decades. At the MS64 level, the 1904 is a decidedly better date, relative to the 1901 and 1907. The present caramel-gold near-Gem is exceptionally smooth, since marks are confined to a pair of brief field lines behind Liberty's neck. Population: 53 in 64 (2 in 64+), 3 finer. CAC: 11 in 64, 2 finer (10/16).
