Indian Eagles
1907 $10 No Motto MS62 NGC. Satiny brassy-gold surfaces display softly lustrous eye appeal and only minor abrasions. Traces of deep residue in the left obverse field convey originality rather than distraction, and a crisp strike covers the obverse. Weakness at the eagle's shoulder is a function of the new "No Periods" design initiated by Charles Barber -- a two-year type, which was further modified to add the motto in 1908.
