1908 $10 Motto MS64 PCGS. Mint production of 1908 eagles was split into two halves. The first half of the year saw 210,000 No Motto tens struck, while the second half was devoted to eagles with the Motto added. The mintage of 341,300 With Motto coins makes either subtype available in grades up to MS64, but Gems are scarce. This near-Gem Motto example radiates sun-gold mint luster from finely textured, minimally abraded surfaces. Only minor lack of definition on the eagle's shoulder confirms the sharp strike.
