Indian Eagles
1932 $10 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. With of mintage twice that of the next highest-production issue in the Saint-Gaudens Indian eagle series, the 1932 is ripe for type representation. The Mint manufactured 4.4 million ten dollar gold coins that year. While certain issues from the same period were sent to the melting pot after the 1933 Gold Recall, the 1932 managed to avoid that fate. Premium Gems are very scarce, but they remain relatively accessible. Plus-designated representatives are, however, truly rare. PCGS reports a single coin finer than this virtually flawless rose and yellow-gold coin (11/16). Thick, frosty luster washes over seemingly pristine fields that house boldly struck motifs. Unbeatable visual appeal.
