1897-S $20 MS64 PCGS. The medium-gold surfaces flash olive highlights across the frosty and lustrous surfaces of this Choice double eagle. A razor-sharp strike adds to the eye appeal. Some light grazes in the left obverse field and tiny marks on the portrait and neck justify the assigned grade. While moderately available at the MS64 level, finer coins are rare with PCGS reporting just 12 numerically finer examples (11/16).
