Liberty Double Eagles
1903-S $20 MS64+ PCGS. Although plentiful in MS64, the 1903-S double eagle becomes a challenging acquisition in Gem condition. The present Plus-graded near-Gem offers sharp detail and frosty peach-gold luster with a lack of bothersome abrasions. A small coppery alloy spot appears on Liberty's hair near the bun. PCGS records only 16 finer submissions (10/16).
