1905 $20 MS61 NGC. The mintage of 58,919 pieces seems minuscule by 20th century standards, and the date is proportionately scarce in high grades as a result. Most high-grade examples represent importations from foreign holdings over the past several decades. This coin is clearly high-end for the MS61 grade. Abrasions are minimal and the strike is strong. Satiny mint luster radiates from both sides.
