Liberty Double Eagles
1907-S $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1907-S double eagle was well-made, as evidenced by this near-Gem that exhibits a sharp strike and pleasing luster radiating from yellow-gold surfaces. This issue is usually heavily abraded as most were shipped loose in bags to banks and were subject to considerable contact (Fuljenz, 2015). The present coin reveals fewer and less severe marks than typically seen. This is an excellent piece for a high-grade type collection.
