Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1910-S $20 MS65 PCGS. Frosty luster shimmers over pale wheat-gold surfaces. Both sides are carefully preserved with clean fields and a single notable mark within the central part of the eagle's plumage. Strike detail on Liberty's face, torch hand, and the Capitol is strong, cementing this Gem double eagle's status as one of the top surviving representatives of the 1910-S (2.1 million coins struck). PCGS and NGC each report nine finer submissions (11/16).
