1911-D $20 MS66 PCGS. The 1911-D Saint-Gaudens double eagle claims a substantial mintage of 846,500 pieces and the issue is not too difficult to locate at the MS66 grade level, but finer examples are rare. This delightful Premium Gem exhibits sharply detailed design elements throughout and the lustrous orange-gold surfaces show no mentionable distractions. PCGS has graded seven numerically finer examples (11/16).
