Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1911-D/D $20 FS-501 MS65 PCGS. A secondary D east of the primary D attributes this Cherrypickers' Guide variety. This satiny, yellow-gold Gem is one of 846,500 double eagles struck at the Denver Mint in 1911. About half of them were shipped overseas and preserved in Mint State. However, finer coins are notable rarities. A razor-sharp representative without detracting flaws.
