1913-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Boosted by a small mintage of 34,000 pieces, the 1913-S double eagle is widely popular in near-Gem condition. Additionally, finer examples are rare, with PCGS having certified only 24 such pieces (10/16). The present coin displays a sharp strike and frosty yellow-gold mint luster. Only a few light surface grazes limit the grade.
