1924-D $20 MS64 PCGS. The 1924-D double eagle is scarce in Choice condition and rare at the Gem level. This near-Gem offers a sharp strike amid an array of rose-gold, peach-orange, and straw-yellow luster. The vibrant cartwheel effect is interrupted only by a few minor ticks on the central obverse. PCGS records 11 higher-grade representatives (10/16), making the 1924-D one of the more challenging condition rarities of the series.
