Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1925-D $20 MS63 PCGS. Most of the nearly 3 million 1925-D double eagles struck ended up in the melting pot of during the 1930s, resulting in limited numbers of survivors for modern-day collectors. This Select example is in the median grade for Mint State survivors. Silvery-gold, rose, and lemon-yellow hues encompass each side amid satiny cartwheel luster that illuminates bold design elements. Only a few minor marks are seen with a loupe.
