1872 $1 Indian Round 1 Dollar, BG-1207, R.4, MS65 Prooflike NGC. The watery, prooflike fields are nearly undisturbed on both sides of this lovely Gem. The coin is very sharply struck for the type and amazingly preserved; only the most minute surface disturbances appear on either side, none of which are inconsistent with the Gem grade assessment. None are numerically finer, although NGC does list another Gem in Deep Prooflike. Census: 1 in 65 Prooflike, 0 finer (10/16).
