Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with Scylla hurling stone, ΣΩ on neck guard / [ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ] ΣΩΓ above bull charging right, head lowered right, ΑΡ monogram and dove on ground line below, fish right in exergue. HN Italy 1820. SNG ANS 1060 (same dies). Struck from dies of exquisite style and beautifully toned.
