Walking quadriga driven by charioteer right; above, Nike flying right to crown horses / ΣYRΑ-ΚΟΣΙΩΝ, pearl-diademed head of Arethusa right, wearing beaded necklace; hair gathered in short tail; all surrounded by four dolphins swimming clockwise. Boehringer 172 (V75/R122). HGC 2, 1306. An attractive example of this early Syracuse issue.
