Charioteer walking slow quadriga right, Nike above, flying right to crown horses / ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΟΝ, head of Arethusa right, wearing broad hair band, whorl earring, and necklace, four dolphins around. HGC 2, 1316 (these dies). Boehringer 628 (V319/R432). SNG ANS 200. Nicely centered on a broad flan. One of the most striking "transitional" dies, with a head of stately classical style. NOTE: Seated a little off-axis in NGC slab.
